Today we are going to begin a new project in shop. Periods 2 and 8 will be making a custom serving tray. Period 6 will be working on an Eileen Wine bottle stand.
Everyone will need to finish their Practice Using Multiple Tools Board and get checked off before beginning the new project.

Hello to all. I hope this new day finds you well. Today is a big day for us in the shop. We are moving at a super fast pace and learning many exciting new tools. Today we are going to focus on the safety, setup, and how to use the JOINTER. So, get ready for lots of new material.
We are first going to watch a few videos on how to properly use a jointer Next we will be focusing on the parts to the jointer and its safety. Last we will go see a demonstration on using the jointer.
With the time left in the shop we will continue working on the projects you are making and some of you will be able to use the jointer as well.
